The Founder of GOCA, Gerald O’Connell, is the President of OSSIM (India) which has been set up to provide management training to the Private Security Industry in India. The CEO of the company is Captain Ravee, who is also the Secretary General of the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) in India. CAPSI is the body that represents the Indian Private Security Industry with the Indian government, and is seeking to raise the Standards of Quality and Professionalism within India. OSSIM is the only such Institute in India, or in Asia.
It is the vision and intention to take this concept to the whole of Asia, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, and the Middle East. Beyond this, it seeks to establish a strong presence in Australia.
